I was raised in the wide-open spaces of South Dakota and moved to California to attend college where I studied Child and Family Development. I went on to graduate from Lesley University in Boston, MA with a master’s degree in Holistic Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the years I have worked as a yoga teacher for kids and adults, a behavioral therapist, in community mental health, and in foster care and adoptions in Los Angeles.

My work incorporates over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. After becoming a mother of two, through all the joys and challenges, I am even more passionate about supporting mothers on their journey.

My approach is holistic, and I believe in the importance of the mind-body connection and finding ways for you to support your whole self. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to feel connection, to meet your goals and find growth in the ways that suit you best.

As a licensed professional clinical counselor I offer individual therapy for adults, adolescents and children to support the treatment of challenges and symptoms that arise from complexities in life. If you feel you are struggling with adjusting to transitions, processing developmental trauma, relational issues, grief, loss or symptoms of anxiety and depression, I would love to support you.

I also love helping parents to do the work to fine tune self-awareness and use tools to regulate their nervous systems in order to support a more regulated family system and the healthy social-emotional development of their children.
